The Beginning

So its that time of year when seniors everywhere begin to start thinking towards the future, but then they are impacted by a sudden realization, "Oh no! I have to do a senior project!" Now my time has come to worry about this project. Struggling over what topic to go with, I finally learned what my topic would be "Is college really worth it?" Now I am going to have to interview as many sources as I can with the sources including people that attended college as well as people that did not attend college. Ultimately I will hope to learn and educate people on whether it is smarter to pursue college post-high school or to go with another career path. Which of these options should our generation choose, the idea of business or the idea of further tests and education?

  1. The cost of college education is actually one problem I have to consider for my own project. Many countries have completely free education and Americans undergo crippling debt. But then again, we have been to the moon...

  2. Think about vo-tech, training in school free. So let's say you decide after school to go to plumbing school, or to be a electrician, to be a cosmotologist, where does that leave you in the school debt situation...?

What about finding a job after schooling?

  3. I was planning on treating the plumbers and electricians alongside the people who do not go to college because people often talk about going to college but never really talk about going to these other types of post-secondary schools. I also planned to hit on the point of which route would provide the better chance at being employed after all schooling was done for whichever path while also factoring in average net income that a person would receive if they went to college or pursued some other path following high school.
